What’s the Weather Policy?

Unless you hear directly from us, you should always assume your game is on. If a game is postponed due to weather, we will notify you by email.

For outdoor sports, games will be played in almost any conditions except during hurricanes, lightning, or when a facility does not allow us to play. We carefully monitor field and facility conditions and sometimes decisions cannot be made until shortly before game time. We understand this can be frustrating, and we appreciate your patience as we work to make the safest call possible.

To stay updated, you can check your city’s weather line, the Volo App, our social media pages, and your email. Updates are posted as soon as we have them. Please note that cities or facilities may close fields or gyms even when conditions appear playable, and we are required to follow their decisions.

If a game is rained out, a makeup will be scheduled later in the season. Each team is guaranteed up to two makeups. If there are more than two rainouts, we will do our best to schedule additional games, but these cannot be guaranteed.

Occasionally, there may be a short delay in our response or resolution to an issue, but please know we are committed to getting back to you as quickly as we can.
