By registering for any Volo program, league, event, membership, or activity, participants agree to the policies outlined below. These terms apply to all leagues, tournaments, daily play sessions, practices, drop ins, classes, social events, outings, e-game events, and all other Volo offerings unless otherwise stated.
Volo plans its leagues, events, and programs based on the number of registrations received. Because of scheduling, staffing, and facility constraints, all registrations are final and non-refundable once submitted, except in the limited circumstances described in this policy.
Refund Policy at a Glance
All registrations are final once submitted. This means refunds are not available for any programs, events, daily play sessions, tournaments, or Volo Pass memberships.
The only circumstance in which a refund is issued is when a program is canceled due to low registrations or circumstances outside of our control that prevent the program from running.
In these cases, we will proactively communicate the cancellation to registered participants along with a response deadline. Players must reply by that cutoff to receive the offered refund; otherwise, the registration will convert to a site credit that is no longer refundable.
Credits May Be Available in the Following Circumstances (Not an Exhaustive List):
A league is canceled and no alternate league options work for the participant.
A participant withdraws at least 2 weeks before the registration deadline (full credit).
A participant withdraws within 2 weeks of the registration deadline (partial credit, may be issued case by case).
Weather, facility issues, or other interruptions prevent postponed games from being made up.
A valid injury claim is submitted before the season begins or by the end of Week 3, accompanied by a doctor’s note.
An event is postponed or canceled (credit or transfer to similar event).
Credits are non-refundable once issued and cannot be applied towards Volo Pass membership dues/costs.
Refunds and Credits Are Not Issued For:
Changes to personal or work schedules, moving, travel, or other non-league-related conflicts.
Forfeits caused by your team or your opponent.
Weather delays or postponements when makeup games are provided.
Inability to attend a scheduled makeup game.
Changes to game times, locations, formats, or referee availability.
Dissatisfaction with division placement, level of play, team competitiveness, or self-selected skill level.
Teammate conflicts, roster disputes, captain decisions, or internal team disagreements.
Injuries reported after Week 3 or without a doctor’s note.
Facility changes or adjustments made to complete the season.
Delayed league start dates (games will still be played when possible).
Complaints or concerns shared after a season has ended.
These circumstances do not qualify for refunds or credits under any condition. This list is not exhaustive. If a situation arises that is not specifically outlined in this policy, Volo reserves the right to apply its refund and credit policies at its discretion. While we cannot guarantee exceptions, we will always do our best to work with participants within the structure of this policy.
Additional Important Notes:
All refund or credit requests must be submitted in writing to your local Volo city support email
All valid requests must be submitted within 2 years of the original purchase
Credits and discounts must be applied at checkout and cannot be retroactively applied
Credits are non refundable once issued
Credits may be transferred to another participant or donated to the Volo Kids Foundation
Volo Pass memberships are non refundable; members may cancel at any time, with access remaining active through the end of the billing cycle
These are the general guidelines we follow for refunds and credits. By registering for any of our programs, you agree to all refund and credit policies outlined above.
Please note: Volo is proud to bring people together through play in cities across the country. Each city has its own dedicated team focused on creating and executing amazing experiences to help build lasting connections throughout our communities. Every adult league also supports free youth programs through the Volo Kids Foundation, creating more access and opportunity for the next generation. Occasionally, there may be a short delay in our response or resolution to an issue, but please know we are committed to getting back to you as quickly as we can. To help us respond faster, please avoid submitting multiple tickets for the same inquiry as this can delay our ability to assist you. Thank you for your patience and for being part of the Volo community.
