When you register for a Volo league, your spot is reserved and helps us plan teams, schedules, venues, and the season. Because of that, choosing not to participate after registering does not qualify for a refund.
Different situations may be handled differently, so here’s a quick breakdown of what to expect:
If You Can No Longer Play
If you, or your group/team, decide not to participate after registering, refunds are not available.
Depending on the timing and circumstances, a site credit may be available. Contact your local Volo team as early as possible if you can no longer participate.
If League Is Canceled
If Volo cancels a league because of registration or venue issues, we’ll first share alternate league options when available.
If you cannot participate in an alternate league, you may be eligible for a full refund.
Be sure to respond to the cancellation email by the deadline provided. If we do not hear from you by then, your registration fee will be converted to a league credit.
If a Game Is Postponed
Weather, facility issues, or other circumstances may occasionally require a game to be postponed.
We’ll do our best to make the game up later in the season. Makeups may happen at a different location, on another night, or as multiple games in one night.
Postponed games do not qualify for a refund. If Volo is ultimately unable to make up a postponed game, players will receive a prorated credit for that game.
Unable to attend the scheduled makeup? That does not qualify for a refund.
For weather-specific guidance, see What’s the Weather Policy?
If Your Program or Season Is Delayed
Sometimes a program may need to start later than originally planned because of venue availability, scheduling needs, roster completion, and/or other operational circumstances.
A delayed start does not qualify for a refund. We’ll adjust the schedule and work to include the planned games in the season whenever possible.
Injured or Changes in Plans Before Start
Refunds are not available for injuries, moving, changes in work schedules, or other personal circumstances that prevent you from participating.
If an injury prevents you from starting/continuing, reach out to your local Volo team as early as possible. We may ask for documentation, such as a doctor's note, when reviewing your situation.
Volo Pass
Volo Pass subscriptions are non-refundable.
You can cancel your subscription at any time, and your Pass will remain active through the end of your current subscription period. See, How Does Canceling a Volo Pass Subscription Work?, for more information.
How Do I Submit a Request?
All refund or credit requests must be submitted in writing to your local Volo team or info@volosports.com.
For the complete terms, including situations not covered in this FAQ, see the Volo Refund Policy.
***Please note: Volo is proud to bring people together through play in cities across the country. Each city has its own dedicated team focused on creating and executing amazing experiences to help build lasting connections throughout our communities. Every adult league also supports free youth programs through Volo Kids Foundation, creating more access and opportunity for the next generation.
Occasionally, there may be a short delay in our response or resolution to an issue, but please know we are committed to getting back to you as quickly as we can.
To help us respond faster, please avoid submitting multiple tickets for the same inquiry as this can delay our ability to assist you. Thank you for your patience and for being part of the Volo community.
