How Do I Report a Forfeit?

Short on players? Before forfeiting, check What’s Your Substitution Policy? You may still have options to keep the game on.

If your team still cannot play, let your local Volo team know as soon as you know.

When Should I Let Volo Know?

Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice whenever possible.

• Same-day of game: Notify us as early as possible and no later than 4:00 PM local time.
• Weekend game: Please notify us by Friday morning whenever possible so there is enough time to communicate the change before game day.

Something unexpected happen after those times? Still let us know as soon as possible.

Before You Send

Only report a forfeit once you’re sure your team cannot play.

Once we notify your opponent and staff, they may make other plans and the forfeit may not be able to be reversed.

What Should I Send?

Please include:

• League (Night, sport, and venue):
• Team Name: 
• Game Date:
• Game Time:

No explanation needed.

Contact Your City

Find your city below to contact your local Volo team. Select 'Report a Forfeit' to open a pre-filled email, add your game details, and send it our way.

Will My Game Be Rescheduled?

No. Forfeited games are not rescheduled.

Giving us as much notice as possible still helps us update your opponent and staff before game time.

What Happens Next?

We’ll notify the appropriate teams and staff and reach out if we need anything else.

We may also check in before your next game to make sure your team is set and give you time to address any roster needs early.
